Stephane Derencourt created his firm "Vignerons Consultants" in 1999, on the strength of his extensive experience of all the aspects of winegrowing, and he has been accompanying wine production at Chateau de Candale since September 2010.
Stéphane Derenoncourt’s work consists in seeking out the fullest expression of the terroir. His approach is based on detailed observation of nature and enhancing the vineyard ecosystem.
Everything he does, from soil to plant through to winemaking, is designed to achieve sustainable progress in quality, with winemaking techniques that place the emphasis on finesse rather than extraction.
