Located on the east coast with mountains to the west, Marlborough is one of New Zealand's sunniest and driest areas. In this bright, but relatively cool climate grapes have the advantage of a long and slow flavor-intensifying ripening.

Hunky Dory wines are crafted by Claire and Mike Allan at Huia Vineyards. The wines are created from grapes grown certified organic and sustainable vineyards. These selected vineyards are situated int he Rapaura and Southern Valley regions within the Wairau Valley an done north bank vineyard int he Lower Dashwood region of the Awatere Valley, Marlborough. Each vineyard imparts its own distinctive characters int he final blend. Quality is maintained through low yields.
