Camille Giroud was founded in 1865 and was passed down, first to Camille’s son, Lucien, and then to his grandsons, Bernard and Francois. In 2001, it was bought by Joe Wender and Ann Colgin. The new owners, wanting to continue to uphold Camille Giroud's history as a classic Burgundian domaine, hired David Croix to take over the winemaking.
