ANDIS WINES

Amador County, California

Nestled in the Sierra Foothills is our modern winery that produces award-winning wines of grace, character, and distinction. Since 2010, we’ve called Amador County our home -- and as an up-and-coming wine country, it’s the perfect canvas for crafting world-class wine.

A new winery is not a new thing. Winemaking is an old tradition, dating back at least 8000 years. The world over, marriages are celebrated, friendships are made, and days are discussed over a glass of wine.

Why Andis?

Because, in this new era of global connectivity, commerce, and awareness wine runs the risk of becoming yet another commodity. Good wine is more readily available now than at any time in our history. Wine consumers are savvier and more engaged than ever before. But, perhaps what has been lost, or at least misplaced, is a focus on getting the best from a specific place; making wines that have a unique expression of ground, climate and those who grow and craft them.

We live in a world that has changed. What once was easily known; white with fish, red with meat, French is fancy, California is rough, no longer holds true.
